This winter has been a doozy for us “east coasters”. Monster mash snow storms almost every week in February causing our concrete jungle of NYC to be transformed into a slushy snow covered mess! So, of course when a Drifter can escape into the suburbs filled with trees, rocks, mountains and seashore – how can one refuse?? Last week, we got to check out some really cool shopping area’s in Philadelphia, PA. Turns out South Street is a pretty dope place to chill. Stylish boutiques, fun bars and a ton of artistic tattoo parlors. Kind of reminds me of theEast Village in NYC. Make sure to stop in and say hello to our friends at Emoda and Denim fusion – you’ll see Drifter & Square One Summer merchandise calling your name.

As mentioned in a previous post, Drifter is doing a collaboration shirt with Inner-City Arts where proceeds from the sale of the shirt will be donated back to the organization.  A few of us had the chance to visit the facility, and I must say ,we were really impressed with the whole program over there.  They provide this insanely nice, and creative environment to students in the inner city who otherwise probably wouldn’t receive any form of art lessons because their schools don’t offer them.  And it’s all free of charge!  Learn more about them here.  Check out some photos of the facility, and of the shirt that will be available in our webstore soon, stay tuned…

Kevin has made another stop at the Drifter office right after the Vegas show. We started talking about the details of our “Kevin Willis x Drifter” collaboration and it’s looking like it’s going to be an exciting project for us! Check back for updates in the next couple of weeks.

The new collection is on fire!  We had great responses and sales at the ENK show in Vegas. Thanks so much to our friends and loyal retailers for ordering and reordering.
